Official Course Union for
Law and Business Majors
At the Ted Rogers School of Management
About Us and Our Mission
Founded in 2009, the Law and Business Student Association (LBSA) is the official course union and representative body for all Law and Business majors at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University. We aim to unite all students across campus who are interested in the intersection of law and business while actively working to promote the major. We also strive to support the success of all Law and Business students in their chosen career paths, whether they have a legal or non-legal focus.
Strongest Integration of Law and Business in Canada
The Law and Business major enriches the student experience by building their critical thinking skills and allowing them to apply legal knowledge to real-world situations. This program is the strongest integration of law and business among all Bachelor of Commerce degrees in Canada. As a Law and Business major, students will learn the ins and outs of corporate law with an ethical focus. Furthermore, students will graduate from this program with strong knowledge in contract negotiations, human resources, risk management, policy development, property transactions, corporate social responsibility, and governance; these are all areas essential to future luminaries of the business world and aspiring legal professionals.
